When you arrive, please introduce yourself to the instructor and let him or her know if you have any injuries or conditions that might influence how you need to approach the practice. Also, please inform the instructor if you wish not to receive physical touch during your practice.
There are some differences between Ashtanga yoga and other styles of yoga you may have practiced. Please do your best to follow the teacher's instructions, and please feel free to ask after class if you have questions about the practice. If the teacher suggests that you switch to a different class, please follow their suggestions - they are offered only for your benefit and safety.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in and sweat in. Please remove your socks - we practice with bare feet.
